Addressing Antibiotic Resistance: Bridging Science and Society Across Borders
Antibiotic resistance is a critical global health issue, and our project seeks to tackle this challenge by bringing together scientists and citizens from France, Germany, and Switzerland. We will explore how understanding and perceptions of antibiotic resistance vary across these countries, exploring the link between environment and health, the level of public concern, and the willingness to adopt alternative strategies. By identifying common concerns and cultural differences, we aim to refine and harmonize local strategies for both human and environmental health. By engaging the public directly in the scientific process through participatory activities and educational workshops, we will raise awareness and empower communities to play an active role in addressing this issue. This cross-border collaboration, supported by the Eucor network, aims to align healthcare innovations with both scientific research and societal needs, making a lasting impact on health and sustainability in the Upper Rhine region and beyond.
