The Franco-German double Master’s degree in law offers a unique opportunity to study in the heart of Europe, close to the European Court of Human Rights and the European Parliament, and experience the European spirit. The two-year Master’s programme in Strasbourg and Freiburg brings together ten students from the University of Strasbourg and ten students from the University of Freiburg to obtain a Master’s 2 degree from the University of Strasbourg and a LL.M. (Master of Law) from the University of Freiburg. Thanks to the 13 focus areas from Strasbourg and the ten focus areas of Freiburg, participants can specialise in all aspects of the legal system. Students write a Master’s thesis, which enables them to acquire a deeper knowledge of the scientific work in the field of comparative Franco-German law, or they carry out an end-of-study internship which offers the chance to discover one of the many career opportunities, whether this is in an international organisation, law firm or associated institutions.
