Eucor Master in Scandinavian Studies

The Scandinavian Studies departments of the Universities of Basel, Freiburg and Strasbourg intend to develop a joint Master program based on their long-standing and intensive cooperation in research and teaching within the framework of Eucor. The profiles of the individual institutes complement each other ideally, so that together they form one of the largest centres for Scandinavian Studies outside Scandinavia. As such, they are in a position to develop an attractive and internationally competitive Master program that is also open to students from neighbouring disciplines. In order to advance the planning and develop an innovative program that meets the framework requirements of the three participating universities, funding is requested for the position of a coordinator as well as travel funds. The goal is to develop a Master program that can go through the approval processes of the three universities after the Eucor Seed Money funding ends.
