International student conference in the field of sustainability

"Let's think beyond the Bin: Reimaging consumption for a sustainable future"
The 5-day conference will take place at the University of Basel from 24-28 March 2025 in the framework of Eucor. It aims to bring together students from several European universities to work together on real-world sustainability challenges. Students will work in international teams and engage directly with stakeholders from different sectors facing pressing environmental and sustainability issues.
Participants will assess these challenges and develop innovative, workable solutions, gaining hands-on experience in sustainability assessment while contributing to real-world change. The conference is taking place as part of the University of Basel's Sustainability Week, so a wide range of interesting events on sustainability-related topics will be offered alongside the conference program.
On Thursday, there will be a public panel discussion entitled ‘Everything for the bin? For a sustainable future beyond the throwaway society’, organised in collaboration with the sustainability working group of the Eucor cities network.
To attend the conference, students of the five Eucor-universities can apply until 31 of January 2025 using this link: Application for the Conference
