10 years EGTC anniversary logo

Students from Eucor universities are invited to take part in cross-border cultural afternoons, including theatre visits.

If you want to improve your German or French language skills and are interested in Europe and theatre, this is the place for you. OuverTür/e is a series of Franco-German and Franco-Swiss cultural afternoons in Strasbourg. Each time, the focus of the artistic and European events is on exchange with a binational group of students.

Participation in the project is free of charge. Transport costs are covered (further information is available upon registration). If you have any questions, please contact: eucor@unistra.fr.

  • Visit to the Christmas market in Strasbourg
  • Guided tour of the Council of Europe (in French)
  • German-French language animation with a free drink at the Théâtre Le Maillon
  • Theatre play ‘Phèdre!’ by François Gremaud at the Théâtre le Maillon (in French)

Languages:
German (from A2) and French (minimum B2)

When and where?
4 December 2025 from 1:30 p.m. in Strasbourg

Who can participate?
Students of the University of Strasbourg and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. The Carte culture is mandatory and will be provided free of charge.

Registration is open until 24 November 2025.

Programme:

  • Visit to the Danube eco-district or the European Parliament in Strasbourg (tbc)
  • German-French language animation with a free drink at the Théâtre Le Maillon
  • Theatre play ‘das Wetter zuhause. ein Wohnzimmerballett’ (the weather at home. a living room ballet) by Aleksandr Kapeliush at the Théâtre le Maillon (in French)

Languages:
German (from A2) and French (at least B2)

When and where?
30 January 2026 in Strasbourg

Who can participate?
Students from the University of Strasbourg and the University of Basel. The Carte culture is mandatory and will be provided free of charge.

Students from the University of Strasbourg and the University of Freiburg. The Carte culture is mandatory and will be provided free of charge.
