The projects of the second funding round cross-border “Seed Money”
In the call for the second funding round “Seed Money”, Eucor – The European Campus approved the financing of eight projects in research and teaching with a total amount of 300,000 euros. With the “Seed Money”, adopted in 2017, the trinational university network has set about to finance new cross-border science projects within the member universities and contributing to the further development of a joint campus. “Seed Money” is intended as start-up financing for long-term scientific cooperation with international appeal. The total funding volume from January 2018 to December 2020 amounts to almost one million euros.
A total of 36 applications competed for the award. Two projects will be supported from the “Teaching” funding line and six from the “Research and Innovation” funding line – including two each from the “Physical Sciences & Engineering” and “Social Sciences & Humanities” and “Life Sciences” categories. The selection committees consisted of experts from all five member universities.
